Thomas Strand Studio offers both studio and on-location portrait sessions, each designed to create timeless artwork-centered images of your pet. Session options are below, and full details may be found in the Client Guide.
Fine Art Studio Session $295
A focused studio portrait session with a small collection of beautifully finished images.

Session includes one background option of your choice. Additional pets from the same household $35 each.

Your private gallery will be available for 30 days, giving you time to enjoy your portraits, choose your included images, and consider any additional favorites.

Your included artwork credit can be applied toward printed artwork products of your choice.
Applicable sales tax will be added.
Signature Studio Session $495
A more complete studio experience with additional time, more variety, and a broader collection of finished images.

Session includes up to two background options. Additional pets from the same household $35 each.

A focused on-location session designed for clients who want a curated collection of beautifully finished portraits in a natural or meaningful setting.

The Process
Step 1: Consultation
We’ll begin with a phone consultation where I can answer your questions and learn more about your hopes, expectations, and what you would love to create from your session.
Step 2: Session Confirmation
When you’re ready to book, we’ll finalize your session details and choose a date for your shoot. A $150 retainer fee will then be invoiced to officially reserve your session.
Step 3: Session Prep
Once your session is booked, I’ll send over my Client Guide to help you prepare. It covers what to expect and answers many common questions, and we can always follow up if anything else comes to mind.
Step 4: The Photoshoot
We’ll meet either in the studio or at your chosen location for a fun, relaxed, and stress-free session. I’ll guide you and your pet throughout the shoot to create memorable images you’ll treasure for years to come.
Step 5: Proof Gallery
After your session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery where you can view your images, select your favorites, and consider any additional artwork you may want for your home. Proofing galleries are ready 7-10 days after the shoot.
Step 6: Orders Ready
Approximately 2–3 weeks after your order is placed, your high-resolution files will be fully retouched and any additional artwork you selected will be ready. Then all that’s left is to enjoy your finished artwork and digital images.
