Your portraits will be presented to you in an online gallery where you can select your complimentary files and purchase printed artwork. I also offer an in-studio consultation in which you may view and handle product options prior to purchase. I will be there to advise you every step of the way.

All prints and products are crafted through trusted professional print labs that specialize in museum-quality production, using archival materials and expert color processes. To ensure every piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and longevity, all artwork is printed exclusively through my studio and our carefully selected vendors.

This process allows me to preserve the integrity of each image and guarantee that the final result reflects the full depth, detail, and emotion captured during your session—something mass-market printers simply can’t match.

The $375 commission fee is required at the time of booking to secure your session and is non-refundable should you miss your scheduled session.

Life happens—I understand! If you need to reschedule due to an emergency or weather, we’ll find the next available date that works for both of us. For non-emergency rescheduling, I kindly ask for at least 5 days’ notice to accommodate scheduling adjustments.

The commission fee is fully refundable if you should choose to cancel your session with at least 48 hours notice.

All images created by Thomas Strand Studio are protected under United States copyright laws and remain the intellectual property of the photographer. It is illegal to print, copy, scan, edit, or reproduce any photographs or digital images without written permission from Thomas Strand Studio.

We retain the right to use images from your session for advertising, portfolio display, website promotion, photographic contests, publications, or any other marketing purposes. Copyright ownership includes all works created during your session, in both original and edited formats.

To preserve the integrity of our work, alterations to images—including applying filters or modifications of any kind—are strictly prohibited without prior consent. Cropping is acceptable for social media purposes (such as profile photos or square Instagram posts). However, if edits are made that misrepresent the original work, we reserve the right to request the removal of the altered image.

Your pet could become a star! Thomas Strand Studio collaborates with companies worldwide, providing images for greeting cards, websites, products, and more. Select photos from your session may be added to our stock photography collection, giving your pet the chance to be featured in a variety of commercial and artistic projects.

Images featuring humans will not be included in our stock gallery unless a signed model release is provided by the individual photographed.

The safety of all pets, people, and property is a top priority during every session. As the pet owner, you assume full responsibility for your pet(s) and any other individuals present, including any damage to personal, business, or public property, personal injury, or legal matters that may arise.

Please ensure that your pet is comfortable and well-suited for the chosen location. If your session takes place in a public area, it is your responsibility to understand and manage your pet’s behavior and limitations. We kindly ask that you disclose any known behavioral concerns, aggression issues, or history of biting before the session to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.

Thomas Strand Studio reserves the right to terminate the session and leave the location if inappropriate, threatening, hostile, or unsafe behavior is observed from any person or pet. Additionally, we must adhere to all rules and regulations of the session location, and any fines or penalties resulting from violations are the responsibility of the client.

While we are happy to provide technical recommendations, all handling and management of pets remain the owner’s responsibility. Our goal is to create a stress-free, safe environment that allows for beautiful and meaningful portraits.
